you have restart on error check in the startup/shutdown options
uncheck it, and when it blue screens it won't restart
or if configured, check your memory dump file for the cause
Is some dumb aass unplugging the server so they can use the outlet to make late night coffee>?

Lets hope you dont see this

Steve makes a good suggestion,

The reason this selection may be beneficial, is in case of a system failure or crash, an automatic reboot will restore the server to a working state, with all services loaded.  You will need to investigate this problem, this isn't normal.  (Make sure the latest service pack is installed)  Jwc isn't joking either, the 6008 event id can be caused by expiration of a 120 trial version of the NOS. If you are running an eval copy in a work environment...hahahaha.

I know you say that power is "perfect" however, is this a new install (meaning this pc).  if so, is it on a "new" ups?  if the ups is "new", open the base and check the battery.  they usually ship disconnected and they are guaranteed to cause power drops if not connected and charged.
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery.  Uncheck the "Automatically Reboot" box.  Check the "Write an event to the System Log" Box.  Check the "Send an Administrative Alert Box".  Choose the "Small Memory Dump"  Option.  Check the "Overwrite any Existing File" Box.

This will stop your system from automatically rebooting.  The causes of this are usually linked to recent installations of new Hardware and/or software.  Check for any exclamation points (!) in your Device Manager.  Be sure that all your device drivers are either digitally signed and/or functional.

Read this carefully, and print it if needed.  The adjustments above will stop the automatically rebooting problem, which is just a symptom of your real problem---hardware/software-related; most likely a driver problem.
