recovering Windows XP's administrator password

I forgot the admin password of WinXP in one of computer in my office.

Please suggest solutions, to crack or to hack the password. I don't want to reinstall, even though that computer doesnot have any critical data.

If you log in as a domain admin you can reset the local admin password...

Windows XP/2000/NT Key resets Windows XP/2000/NT security settings if Administrator password, secure boot password or key disk is lost.

This application creates Windows Key driver disk. Reboot locked system using Windows XP/2000/NT setup disks or CD-ROM and load Windows Key driver at the load 3rd party raid driver prompt. When Windows Key driver is loaded, it will show you the list of Windows installations that could be processed. Choose the installation and your password will be reset to 12345

I use a bootable linux CD password recovery disk and have used it several times without any problems. It takes longer to burn the image than to reset the password. Here's link. Be sure to read the documentation. This is so easy I don't bother using anything else. I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me.

l0phtcrack has a great tool available for download thatis basically a linux bootable that works wonderfully.
