Anyone know how to remove Admilli?

Hi:  I run Window XP with SP2.
I have this spyware on my machine called "Admilli."  I have deleted the Program folder in Windows Explorer.  I have run Adaware and SBC's Anti-Spyware tool, and I ran HiJack This but it still keeps popping up when I look at the processes running.   The executables running are:  "AdmilliServ.exe" and  "AdmilliKeep.exe." When I try to stop them from running, they simply pop up again.  The "folder" that Admilli is in is "C:\Recycler\" which I believe is accessible through MS-DOS.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello stphncldwll =)

>> The "folder" that Admilli is in is "C:\Recycler\"
First disable your system restore.... then boot in safemode, login as Adminsitrator
open My Computer>Tools>Folder options>View and tick Show Hidden Files and untick Hide Protected Operating System Files
Apply and now open C: drive..... can you see a Recycler folder here, open it, it must have some hidden Recycle bins
open each one and delete anything here...... !!
Now restart and login with your account now...... in safemode also!
Repeat the above step for you user also.....!!

After that run the removal tools and delete anything they detect
delete the offending files also manually if they are still present on your system
delete the temporary interent files and cookies from IE options
run disk cleanup to remove the rest junk files
Now restart and login in normal mode to check for the problems! :)

Click start -> run, type in msconfig.  A box will pop up called System Configuration Utility.  The last tab is startup.  Click that and remove the check mark next to anything referencing the name Admilli.  Choose Apply, then OK.  The OS will prompt you to reboot, but choose NO.  Click start -> run, type in regedit.

Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Expand Sofware.
Expand Microsoft.
Expand Windows.
Expand CurrentVersion.
Expand Run.

You should find a entry for Admilli Service.  Highlight it and choose delete.  Exit Regedit.  Reboot.  Then delete the files and folders (the program files folder should contain a folder called Admilli Service -> C:\Program Files\Admilli Service\, delete it.)

If that doesn't work
reboot in safe mode, run hijack this, remove any related entries, reboot
And if that failes try regcleaner
http://www.pantaloons.mcmail.com/EXE's/regcleaner.exe

Will allow you to browse stuff that starts at system startup + will let you have a friendly peak in the registry. Kick out the stuff that's admilli. If you are unsure post back what's in the lists and I could take a peak for you.
Thanks!

Hi:
I actually used the first and the second suggestions.  The combination of the the two got rid of Admilli and and a whole lot more.
Thanks to all.
Hmm, maybe you should have split the points here?
If more than one expert helps, then the points should be split
I can ask CS to reopen for a split if you would like :-)
i would like that for sure
:O)
I'm so sorry.  I follow the forums, but never had to use them.  Yes, the points should be split.  I apologize for not doing so.  CS, would you be so kind?
I posted in CS, they will reopen this, and then you can split them

Can I split the points?

Yes. Scroll down to the bottom of the question, just above the text box, and click the "Split Points" link. Select the radio button of the comment who you want to Accept as the Accepted Answer. Only one button can be selected. Set the point value (a text box above the comment) of how much you want this person to receive of the points. Then set the point values for each of the experts comments to whom you want to allocate points and these will be considered Assisted Answers in helping you resolve the issue. Double check your information and then click the Submit button at the bottom of the page. One note: the total points of the splits must equal the amount you asked the question for itself, and no person can receive fewer than 20 points.

Thanks again for all your help.
thanks to both of you..
:-)
