AD Users and Computers Snap-In

Is there a way to change which default DC the AD Users and Computers snap-in connects to when launching the snap-in?  I have a local DC onsite, but when I open the snap-in it defaults to a DC on the east coast.  I assume this is happening because this is where the orginal system image was created.  I can right-click at the top level and choose connect, but I would prefer for the snap-in to default to my local DC.  I was thinking that I could set it in the registry.
Thanks,
Mike

Are you running the snap-in on a specific DC or using the AdminPak from your workstation?

You could try "Start". "Run" and type "dsa.msc /server=[servername]" where [servername] is the name of your chosen DC without the [ ]

You could also create a batch file and a shortcut to it with the command and add it with appropriate name to your Administrative Tools program group.

I am running the snap-in from AsminPak locally installed on my XP workstation.

I already have the AdminPak installed.
Everyone, thanks for the help!
