Can't assign mailbox store limit above 2BG???

Hi all
i have an exchange server 2003 SP2 running on a Windows 2003 server. In ESM, i have 4 mail box stores and a public folder store. now i wish to give a limit of 5GB for one mailbox store but when i enter the figure, i get the message below

...the value for 'Issue warning at (KB) is not valid. Specify a value from 0 through 2097151...

how can i get past that? i thought 2GB is too small a limit for a mailbox store in Exchange server 2003.
Please help!!!

hi allocationerror,
Thanks for your speedy response, i appreciate that. plus you are Spot ON!!!
however one more question. how come i still get the error message even though the limits shown there are larger than 2GB?

Regards
I don't understand what you mean exactly, sorry. This error message: "Issue warning at (KB) is not valid. Specify a value from 0 through 2097151"? On which limits do you get this error message?
Just ask your question in another way again, maybe i don't understand it, because english is not my mother tongue.

Sorry allocationerror,
what i mean is,
i did what the MS KB article described; i used ADSIedit to input my mailbox store limits. Afterwards, i went to the properties of the mailbox store and saw that the limits i wanted are there alright. However when i click on the Ok button to exit the properties of the mailbox store, i still get the error message, even though the limits are just as i wanted.

i hope it 's clear enough now

Regards

Yep, that is absolutely correct and makes sense. After every click on OK in the Properties, the wizard checks if the value you "entered" is maximum 2 GB. It is not, so the value must be incorrect and the wizard doesn't save your changes.
A workaround for me is, at every time i only have a look into the Properties, i click Cancel instead of OK. If i change any options in that wizard, i set the value to 2 GB or leave the value empty and the OK button works ofcourse. After this, i open ADSIedit again and set the quota to the value i want to. Thats kinda strange and annoying, but i found no solution for that "bug" in the wizard.
Hi,
I have followed the MS article, the mailbox store shows the limit i have edited and want, but when i go to the users mailbox to set their unique limit above 2gb and below my ADSI limit set (as i still want to be in control and for the user to get a system warning), it still come's up with the error "Issue warning at (KB) is not valid. Specify a value from 0 through 2097151".
How do i set the users mailbox above the 2GB limit now that i have increased in via AD? If i leave the mailbox open now, will the user get a system warning when it reaches the new limit?

Please advise.
