If you getting repetitive errors in the event viewer due to everything trying to synch with a non existant server then your in for a dark journey into the NTDS util to remove it and all remnants manually.<br />

Don't do what tigerwong had suggested. &nbsp;It will get rid of the computer account, but all other AD objects related to your failed DC will not get deleted and the AD sync errors will still be there - which will leave you at where you are right now.<br />
