Resetting Administrator's password
Experts,
I have lost the administrator's password for my pc (running Windows 2000 Professional). How can I reset it. The system also pops an error message reading cannot find "null" when I try to open MS Office Applications. How can I solve these problems?

I had a similar problem and used a linux boot disk to reset the administrator password. I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is the one i used:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

Once you can gain admin rights on the machine, reinstall Office.

If've you've tried the password lots of times, remember you may have locked the account. So no amount of guessing will unlock a locked account (but sometimes waiting can!).

You cannot by definition lock the administrators account, even with policy.

Just use the linux password changer in the first post. Blank the password by specifying * when it asks for the new password. I use it all the time and it works like a champ.

You can crack administrator pass with a program name is ntpassword...
if you want i post it for your e-mail adress...
