Sharing "Contacts" over a network

I've got three computers networked up.  They are all running Windows 95 and Microsoft Outlook 98.  I want to be able to share each others contact information, with out having to set up a new file, as this is simply not practical for our situation.  Basically, I want to have access to everyone elses contacts, and edit them as needed with no hassle for anyone else.  I've got full access/full share all round.  Any ideas?

None of this seems to work on our system, but I'm about to go and get exchange, which seems to be the thing we need - thank you so much for your help, and I will keep your advice as information for the future, maybe after a bit more of a fiddle around I'll be able to get your methods working
