NT audio driver?
Hi, my NT box only has pc speacker , no sound card.
Mistakenly, I removed the audio driver, now it doesn't
make sound as before. When I try to add driver, insert
into the NT workstation CD, I cannot find out the proper
driver name. Anybody help me?
Thanks.

Hmm, you have been able to get a NT Speaker driver? that is odd
NT will not allow direct access to the PC speaker. If you do not have a soundcard, you will not be able to hear anything.
In 95 it was no problem, just add the PCspeaker driver and you got sound (crappy sound, but sound).
The very nature of this driver prohibits its use. A preemptive multitasking operating system will not allow enough CPU cycles to generate the sound. The sound is generated by pulse with modulation which requires 100% of CPU time while the sound is being played. Sound cards offload this to their DAC chips.

Actually, I did not misread the question, he said he did not have Soundcard in the original question. With that in mind my answer would of been correct, however he failed to realize that he did have an on board soundcard (Per his comments above).
