Can't start the Browser Service
When I manually try to start the browser service on my NT 4.0 SP3 Workstation i get the error no. 2310, saying "This shared resource does not exist"
Any suggestions?

-I've never seen that but, do you drive hidden shares still exist ? Reload the service pack for starters.
Goto a later Service Pack such as 5 or 6a, that has solved alot of problems for me with services not starting correctly.
Check the server, workstation and netlogon services are started.
From a command line, type NET SHARE
There should be IPC$ and NETLOGON listed - these are prerequisites.
Is this terminal server ?

Thanks to all comment writers.
Tim:
It's not terminal server. The server and workstation services both are running. This NT 4 WS is in a workgroup environment, so the netlogon service cannot be started too. Therefor the NETLOGON share is not present. All the hidden shares c$, d$ ipc$ are okay.
