Are you using a cluster server? &nbsp;I have this same problem with a hidden share I created on the cluster set. &nbsp;Reboot and it's gone. &nbsp;Thought I'd try creating a non-hidden share next time I need to reboot to see if that goes away also. &nbsp;Kind of figure that it will. &nbsp;I think on the cluster server it's a functions as designed.

Just a quick check - you are aware that the hidden shares are only visible to administrators - I'm sure you are - but just in case!<br />

We are running NT4 SP6 on our PDC. Unfortunatly it has required a couple of reboots recently and one thing I've noticed is that the hidden share on the 2 partitions disappear. This causes a problem for our backup software. I've never noticed it on any other servers I've worked on but I've never had reason to look before either. Does this always happen or is there a fix for it?<br />
