Don't run "add printer" and I can't see printers

Hi, I have a really straigne problem I don't see the printers at 'Printer and Faxes', besides I can't install a Hp Printer. Windows recognize the printer when I connect it, and send me this message:

Nuevo hardware encontrado
Hp Laserjet 1300 PCL 6

Translation:
New hardware found
Hp Laserjet 1300 PCL 6

after says:

Favor de insertar el disco de HP
Pleas insert the CD of HP

I click the OK Button try to copie the file from CD but I don't have it, so I did download the driver from HP.com and continue the installation. Some seconds after says that this device don't approve the sign of Windows but I can continue the installation, so I continue. After copie the drivers send me this message:

No se puede instalar este hardware

Hubo un problema al instalar el Hardware

HP LaserJet 1300 PCL 6

Error en la instalacion del dispositivo

No se puede encontrar el modulo especificado

Translation:

Clic to finalize Wizard

Ocurrio un problema durante la instalacion del hardware. Es posible que el dispositivo no funcione correctamente.

So, what can I do.

P.S. Excuse me my english and translations but I'm not so good to speak english.

I see two network's printers and I can use it from Microsoft Word, but don't appears anyone at "printer and faxes".

Is it the first time you are trying to install this printer..... or there was the same or another printer installed before also ??

Like one month ago I saw that don't appears printers but I hadn't tried to install someone, but it is not the first time that I did Install it.

If there was a printer installed before also, then please disconnect all the printers from the system, uninstall their software if installed, then follow the instructions from here,

Install them and now connect the printer..... check if same problem still! :)

Hey men, have you tried to restart PC? or spooler service...
Panel de Control, Herramientas Administrativas, Servicios, Cola de Impresion...

I did follow the instructions

If the Print Spooler service is operational:

Open the Printers (Printers and Faxes on Windows XP) folder

delete all of the printers

click File, Server Properties

select the Drivers tab

for each entry:

select the entry

click Remove

but dont run Server Properties.

open Start>Run>services.msc
look for Print Spooler... is it started and running or stopped ??
if stopped then start it. if it gives error then leave the Server Properties step and move onto the next step!

I did run

cleanspl.exe

and did uninstall all the printers because now I can't print by Word, but when I click

Impresoras y faxes--> Add printer

don't ocurrs nothing, and when I refresh at "Administrador de Dispositivos" find the local
printer HP Laserjet 1300 PCL 6 but when try to begin the installation, send me this message:

Are you logged in as Adminsitrator ??
if yes then please run a sfc scan now.... there seems to be a lot of problems with the running services on your system =\

Goto START>RUN and type, cmd (hit enter)
now type, sfc /scannow (hit enter)
SFC scan will start scanning ur system
u will need ur WinXP CD in order to fix the corrupted windows system files, if found by scan.

I did forget add that was complete the PATH.

hmmmmmm this is going to be tough!!

try this, from Control Panel>User Accounts>Create a new user, give it Adminsitrative rights
restart and now login with the new user..... check if same problem here while opening services.msc or installing the printer!

open C:\Windows\System32 folder and check if Spoolss.exe and Spoolss.dll files are present there or not ??
Also was your system infected with trojans and malwares,,,, which you removed with some removal tools ??

There is just spoolss.dll, but there's not spoolss.exe and I remove trojans by "Ad Aware SE Personal".

can you try to copy it from another working xp system and then paste it in your system ??

Spoolss.exe not exists in another working XP system, maybe you type it bad. I just found
"spoolsv.exe" in the two machines.

hmmmm you are right..... it should be spoolsv.exe for WinXP!
coz i read here about the problem >> http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=242079
and it think that spoolss.exe is for WinNT and older windows version..... sorry about that confusion =\

I don't know what's mean AROSE, but if you refer that if my problem did appear when I did remove trojans the answer is:
No, my problem exists before I use this Software.

what is the status of Print Spooler and Remote Procedure Call Services and are they both checked??
