This is link number 3 in Google search for YourSiteBar. I don't think these instructions are right. For example, I cannot find YourSiteBar directory on the computer (it is too easy).

Real answers, please, no Googling.
>>>How can I manually remove YourSiteBar from computer?

We posted the right one. Now you can't remove because of some malware and services running in ur system protects the exe or dll of this malware.

Do u get any error message or from where exactly you want to remove this toolbar ?

I don't want to install any third-party software which may create more problems than programs which it is supposed to remove.
I guess YourSiteBar is something new, there is no information in the WEB. Instructions from http://www.scanspyware.net/info/YourSitebar.htm are not working.
I disabled browser extensions in IE and this helped. But this disabled also Google Toolbar which is used as popup blocker, and I cannot install XP SP2 because of some program which doesn't support it.
Get HijackThis and Ad-Aware (update ad-aware)
Disable XP system restore
reboot to safe mode
open a command prompt
cd to _restore folder and delete contents
run HijackThis and remove the yoursidebar references
run Ad-Aware
reboot normal
enable system restore
reboot normal

>> I disabled browser extensions in IE and this helped. But this disabled also Google Toolbar which is used as popup blocker
You can use either ToolBarCop, Hijackthis or BHODemon to get rid of it IF it can be disabled by disabling third party browser extensions, coz third party browser extensions are knowns as BHOs and BHOs can be removed by any of these three tools :)

Hijackthis >> http://www.unitethecows.com/software/HijackThis.exe
Post its log here >> http://www.hijackthis.de
ToolbarCop i have mentioend above, and get BHODemon from here >> http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/10/17/10-17-71.shtml

These tools are not required to be installed on your system, these are standalone tools which can be used as standalone exe programs means you download them open exe file, use it, and then keep it stored in any folder on your hard drive, no installation or uninstallation is required..... so there is no question of "harming" or "screwing" your system, if you will use them with care..... good luck :)

ToolbarCop looks OK. I will try it later, thanks.

For future reference: ToolbarCop successfully disables YourSiteBar. Disabling BHO in IE also helps.
In this specific case, I disabled BHO because there is a lot of other junk on the computer, and working with BHO disabled should be default mode.
