How can I change to complete memory dump?

My computer suddenly rebooted, and this was in the System section of the Event Viewer.

Event Type:      Information
Event Source:      Save Dump
Event Category:      None
Event ID:      1001
Date:            3/1/2005
Time:            2:03:38 PM
User:            N/A
Computer:      RAY
Description:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000077 (0xc000000e, 0xc000000e, 0x00000001, 0x0326e000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini030105-01.dmp.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I found this:

Memory Dump Files
When a Stop error occurs, Windows XP Professional writes information to the paging file (Pagefile.sys) on the systemdrive root by default. When you restart the computer in normal or safe mode after a Stop error occurs, Windows XP Professional uses paging file information to create a memory dump file in the systemroot folder. Analyzing the dump file can help provide more information about the root cause of a problem and enables offline analysis by using tools run on another computer. You can configure your system to generate one of three different types of dump files.

How can I change so I get a complete memory dump?

Right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings (Near Startup and Recovery) > Then under the Write Debugging Information drop-down menu, select Cpmplete Memory Dump. Hope that helps :)

Ok, did that, got a message "If the pagefile . . . has an initial size of less than 511 MB ... system may not be able  to create debugging info if a stop error occurs.  Continue anyway?"

I answered Yes.  Is that OK?
Yeah, that should be fine. It's just warning you that the dump file could be big, and you need to a big enough paging file to complete recording the dump. It's going to be quite a file ;)

Usually it is no need to analyse the full dump unless it is a very difficult question.  Attach 4 to 5 minidumps at any webspace and I will analyse the minidump to find out the culprit.  You can find the mindumps at the \windows\minidump.

To cpc2004:
Thank you.
Can you give more details re "Attach 4 to 5 minidumps at any webspace"
Can I somehow attach the minidumps here (https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21333620/How-can-I-change-to-complete-memory-dump.html?
Yes, the minidump usually contains most of the info you need to troubleshoot any problems (BSODs) that a computer might be having. cpc2004 is asking you to post the dumpfiles that your system creates to a place where he can download them, and he'll examine them for you. Or you can post the results of your minidump here, and I can have a look at them for you, also. But that wasnt your question, originally, which is why I didnt ask you to do that ;)

To rhequiem:
Thank you for the offer.
How do I post them "here".
Get public webspace
Go to www.geocities.com - sign up for an account (they are owned by Yahoo - if you have a yahoo account, then you just need to activate the geocities part of it there). Then use their tools to upload the file.
Or you can email them to me and cpc2004, which might be easier than setting up a geocities account. You can get my email address from my profile. Talk to you soon

Corey
And you can send it to me:  teameagle@hotmail.com
Oh, posting them "here" would require that you actually read the minidump files with microsoft debugging tools and then copying/pasting the results here. It's not difficult, but can be more of a bother than you want to go through. Feel free to email me the dump files if you'd like for me to have a look at them k?
Looks like memory corruption to me.  Run a memory tester such as www.memtest86.com to verify that everything is ok.
It also shows something about ATAPI but I don't have the proper symbols to check all of it.  This could point to an error with your CDRom, the cable between them, and/or it could be nothing and I just don't have the files to be able to analyze that section.

How often is this crash occuring?

Random, say once per 2 days, here is dump from crash about 10 minutes ago:

Grateful for you assistance.
Page cannot be displayed on that last link.
I was able to see the file that time but I can't save it as a .dmp file and have it work.  Can you try uploading it as a .dmp once more and give me the link?
Strange... the very first one you posted I was able to get to just fine but this most recent dumpfile I just cannot get.  It keeps telling me page cannot be displayed.

E-mail it to teameagle@hotmail.com ?

Sent.  Thank you again.
Probably caused by : AlfaFM.sys ( AlfaFM+65f8 )

Does AlfaFM mean anything to you?  TV Tuner card or something?
I can't download the dump from your url. Can you put your dumps at geocities.com

Get public webspace
Go to www.geocities.com - sign up for an account (they are owned by Yahoo - if you have a yahoo account, then you just need to activate the geocities part of it there). Then use their tools to upload the file.
