I connect to the internet via a proxy server (Mandrake Linux 10.0) which requires authorization. I want windows automatic updates to download the updates and remind me when they are ready to be installed. There is a yellow windows update icon on my taskbar. When i point to the icon, it shows &quot;Donloading updates 13%&quot;, but it has been like this for several days. I tried windows update website, but the download failed. I don't want to go to windows update manually.<br />

Is there a registry value or key i can add to tell give windows my proxy authentication so that downloads are automated?<br />
