System Restore has been disabled. Device manager empty.
I have nothing in my Device manager and cant restore because it has somehow been disabled. Also it says something about group policy and Domain Administrator. A graphics card was just installed also.

Black Device Manager can be caused by Apropos trojan. Use Aproposfix to repair

If no joy, the graphic card may be the problem. Go to Control Panel > System > Device Manager. Remove all graphic card drivers. Reboot computer and let Windows reinstall the drivers. Have the graphic card driver disk handy. Make sure the drivers are the latest and for Windows XP.
