error 1606.Could not access network location \Startup
i get this error while updating adobe acrobat. i have checked the following already so give some precise advice as none of these or some others solved my problem

I keep having to double post because you cant edit your replies.

ok, i have tried the user shell folders stuff already before asking the question as i have mentioned already.
so for mcsa_2003 , you are listing the same link i have tried!!
for EE33, mine is not the upgrade, so its not the case, the settings are pretty much ok.
here is the registry export for anyone who wants to look deeply into this, import it to the registry and check if this cause a problem to your registry (maybe its same as your registry settings)

I thing Acrobat Pro has a conflict with Microsoft Office becuase today i face same problem with some one in the office
So here the soultion:
Uninstall Microsoft office.>>control panel >>> add or remove programs >>> remove >>> uninstall
restart and install adobe then install your office again.

Thanks everyone, but i solved it myself.
the problem was strange but after changing the registry settings as i mentioned in the question, i needed to uninstall adobe. Then ran a registry cleanup program and re-installed. It turned out there was some problem with the registry so i am accepting the answer which was closest to the solution.
