Previously accepted answer too, I knew I'd read about this lately.

I use this - works great for your dc:
net time /setsntp:ntp-cup.external.hp.com
Then have others look at it:
net time /domain:yourDCserver /set /y
Hi,

SO what u are saying is that if it is a DC i should use 'net time' command instead of the 'w32tm' command?
Yes that is what I use it works well. net time /setsntp:ntp-cup.external.hp.com will set it to the external.hp.com time server.
You still only need to do this with your PDC Emulator though and then set the rest of the DC's from that. Clients will then pick up the time automatcially when they sync with a DC. Also this way you only need to ammend the firewall to grant access to port 123TCP/UDP for the 1 DC and you guarentee your estate stays in sync with itself. Otherwise if you mess up your firewall at any point you may not realise until you have a server trying to reach external clock, failing, getting 5 minutes out of sync then giving you loads of problems.
Hi,

wanted to share the points between u to but i didn't know how. sorry.
