MY SERVER 2003 IS SLOWER THAN MY PEER TO PEER!!
just switched from a peer to peer to server 2003. thought i would do the office a favor. turns out the server to my workstation is ten times slower than the peer to peer was!how can this be?
i transfered a 350mb file to the p2p server--45 seconds
the same file from my workstation to the new server-10+ minutes.
all are set on 100/full duplex.
any suggestions??

If the server is configured as a dns server then set your workstations network settings so that the dns address is set to your server.
While you are at it check the DNS settings on your servers nics. Are you using 2003 as your DNS server? Are you fowarding from there to your ISP's DNS server?
