Reboot takes very long time - The Active Directory is rebuilding indices
Hi!
I did a controlled reboot after the WTS-session had stalled. When the server is booting up again, it stops and gives the following message:
"The Active Directory is rebuilding indices. Please wait..."
I have done this for 26 hours, but nothing is happening. The server is a DC for 11 people, so I cannot imagine that the AD is of any size. The server uses 2 disks in a HW mirroring configuration.
When I checked EE, I found a similar topic where the advice was to waint until the rebuild had finished. Is this the best thing I can do?
