SBS2003 & POP3 connector - mail 'disappearing'

I'm in the process of setting up our newtwork to access the internet & e-mail. Server is running SBS2003 with exchange (no ISA server)

I've used the POP3 connector to download the e-mail into one user's account, who can then forward e-mail internally as required.  But I've got two problems:

1 - Mail is being downloaded from the ISP (I can see test mails using Webmail that disappear after a while, so I assume the server is downloading them).  But it does not arrive in my Exchange mailbox, and doesn't appear to be in any of the message queues?

2 - Outgoing is not being sent, but is being held in the queue.

I'm beginning to think that using SMTP would be easier, although my ISP will not store e-mails if the server goes down...

Watching - have the same problem and haven't resolved it.  (I think my question is still open on the subject)

The link posted by leew has the correct solution to your problem.

However BCC messages will not be automatically forwarded as the sending mail server strips off the receipients address which is the whole idea of blind carbon copy

I've left this question open for now, as it seems to be working ok at the moment, and all I did was delete the accounts and disable the POP3 connector, then re-ran the wizard...

It does keep giving error messages every so often that the connection has been terminated, but mail certainly seems to be sending and receiving ok...
