Small Business Server 2003 Backup DC Setup and Recovery

I have a server running Small Business Standard Edition 2003 with around 30 users. We're looking to add a backup domain controller in case this one dies. I have been reading, and I see the SBS has to remain the PDC & GC, so I'd have to use Windows Server 2003 Standard. This is fine, but in the event of a failure, can someone let me know the process of restoring AD without restoring from tape?

Pre-crash:
SBS 2003 is PDC
Server 2003 is BDC

SBS 2003 crashes, so we just now have a 2003 Server running AD without seized FSMO roles.

I rebuild the crashed machine, reinstall SBS, now how do I get the old AD data back on it?

Yes good response. Thanks!

I had only set up one SBS using the wizard in the past. Yesterday I ran into the 90-minute auto shutdown because SBS wasnt configured as a DC so it all makes sense now.
