Running out of address for my Class C subnet

Okay first off my IP range is running out of address.  We currently use 192.168.1.0/24 address scheme.  I only have about 10 ip addresses left.  I have some static for our switches and other hardware.  The rest are DHCP for the workstations.  I was wondering how can I get more ip address.  We don't have any routers installed all we use are switches.  I want to be able to still ping every ip address without having to switch my ip address or route a ip address in the cmd prompt.  example if I had a address of 192.168.1.24 and I want to ping a hardware item that was on 192.168.0.1 it would time out on me.  Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Pretty much i just need an address scheme that can handle more than 255 addresses

If this is possible without a router let me know.

Thanks

I wouldn't be able to use the 192.168.0.0 subnet though would I??

Wouldn't I have to atleast drop it to 191.168.0.0 so I'm in the class B subnet?
Hm? No, not at all; why should you? Never mind the subnet class. 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.1.0 will be in the same subnet with a mask of 255.255.254.
Not to mention that 191. isn't a private range anymore ...
