GPS noob looking for some high level, basic information on plotting GPS data on a google map through the google maps api. What type of device do I need, what type of network service, how to I pull down coordinated and load them into google maps?
I've been able to find devices like this (
http://www.semsons.com/wigiwblgpsre.html) and realize that need some type of service to transmit coordinates but can't seem to connect the dots.
Can I use my iphone as the device and the at&t network to get something running quickly?
