I am getting when I click 'install activex' in the info bar on any site (logmein, microsoft downloads etc):
"Your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer."

I know what this means and have tried:
- allowing all activex components in IE security settings (disable prompt, allow activex scripting and downloads etc)
- added logmein and microsoft.com to trusted sites
- turn off windows firewall (no other firewall installed)
- turn off popup blocker
- no spyware software installed
- turn off AV software

what am I missing,  it always used to work. of course!Start Free Trial
