I had a bout with malware "antispywaremaster", but I was able to get rid of that using SpyBot Search & Destroy. However, as a result, it seemed to affect my Automatic Updates, which if you look in Control Panel it is turned on, but I have the Windows Security Alerts icon in the lower right of my taskbar, but when I try to turn Automatic Updates on there, it simply won't do it. When I ran SpyBot S&D, I noticed a malware related to "automatic updates override" and it deleted the malware, but I'm still not able to fully enable automatic updates.
