"Vista Antivirus 2008" Parasite on XP Home system

Asked by fmarshall in Networking Security Vulnerabilities

I have scanned, cleaned, scanned, cleaned, fixed ... etc. etc. but still get Vista Antivirus 2008 popping up and simulating a scan.

I find nothing here that addresses it and nothing on the web that seems to be credible.
