Hi all,
Pardon my ignorance..
Apart from the obvious technological and psycholgical hurdles involved (what is it about 3-4 months just to get there?) how does NASA plan to get them off after? Unlike the moon, Mars has an atmosphere, not to mention high winds etc. And a much higher gravity.
I suppose they could sorta dump them, with appropriate insulation and so forth onto the planet using those ball things. But where do they stay/sleep while they're on there?
They can't set up a rocket sight, right? Or is there technology available to make it feasible?
I guess my question my main question is how to get them off.
Just curious if anyone knows what NASA's initial plans have been thus far.
Best to all,
Justin
