restore MBR (Master Boot Recoder)

hi guys,
can someone solve this problem..i had windows Xp..i sewitched over 2 windows 2000 server..my system had Redhat Linux 8 in my system..as i formatted my C drive..the MBR (Master Boot Recoder) was no more present..
i tried to restore the MBR without reinstalling Linux..i tried with kickstart, package installation and with the boot up CD in upgrade mode..can anyone solve this problem
