Please advise how to convert .tif files to .doc (Word) files.

Convert?

If you mean you would like to insert the image in to a word doc then you just go Insert Menu;Picture;From File and select the image you wish to insert...

to answer both your posts you can get eviewer here:
http://www.galttech.com/ezviewer.html

but Word should be able to import the .tif graphic file as it has a generic .tif import filter
use the insert picture from file methid described by bbowman

(you can ask CS to refund and close your other question & post further queries in this thread)
