Hi
This is the exact site you need for the Win2000 Optiplex GX240 driver:
http://support.dell.com/Fi
Hope this helps you
-dls-
If your Dell still has its service tag on it you can go to their support & generate a page containing all the drivers needed for the machine. Enter the tag number & if the hardware hasn't been changed since manufacture these will be the correct ones for your device (some Dell hardware is OEM and the standard drivers don't always work!).
You seem to have an invalid service tag number but you can try this site http://support.ap.dell.com
the driver you need is a Crystal CS4205.
Cheers Mark

now a new question: using win2000; C drive only has operating sys and a few other programs: i.e. microsoft office; msn; aol; etc; all my data files and downloads are on a 80 g harddrive slave.... it was working fine last night and I wanted to move and combine data from another 80 g hard drive so tried to hook all three up to a cable in the dell ..... now when I go to my computer I can not see the 80g hard drive, either one of them... I only see the operating C drive. but if I go to hardware manager I can see the drives but can not get to the information... at the moment am looking at computer management, disk management, I see the following:
disk 1 basic 1175.47 gb ((in following right to left order)) (greenJ) 80.42 gb free space; (black) 513 mb unallocated; (Green) 23.59 gb free space; (Blue) 811.57 gb healthy; (Blue) 259.39 gb healthy;
a. how do I get to the drive without loosing the data.
b. it is a ST380021A Seagate drive.
thank you..
