Win 98 Qic Backup

I have some cd's that were created as a backup for some files using the Backup program that comes with Windows 98. Is there any way to restore them on a different machine. I've tried to restore them on another 98 machine but it keeps telling me there are no backup sets on the cd's. I can see the file called "backup.qic" but there doesn't appear to be any index or catalog associated with the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
