The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. what is best spyware killer? slow computer, current spy sweeper finds more spyware every hour.

Hi,
 Thanks for help.
I looked in my add/remove program list and I see:
1. Spy Sweeper 7.13 MB (got it from webroot.com)
2. Bazooka Spyware scanner 1,351.00 MB(not sure where I got this)

The Bazooka may be a part of Spy Sweeper or my AVG virus. My computer is very slow lately. Can someone suggest a better spy killer whose file is not so large?

I can do a spyware scan at 2pm....it will find maybe 17 spyware software and another 24 traces, whatever traces are. They are quarentined and deleted. Then I can do the search again 1-2 hours later and it finds more....on the list they seem to be "cookies"...is there a way to block them or use the cookies to locate the websites and block them?

My computer is slow and I can do a spyware scan and deletion every hour and only be clean for an hour....there must be something better. I was told that once the spyware gets on your computer your only sure solution is buy a new computer....mmmmm....a week after I get a new computer, I might get more spyware.
I am basically using the same websites sites as I always have. All popups are being blocked by what I am using.  But, something is slowing my computer way down. I have Windows XP and my hard drive is 20 gig I think.
