msn messenger passport email verification.

i have an email address which is registered in msn passport. when i start windows messenger it always says that my email is not verified and ask to click the popup. when i click it say to check my inbox and click the link in the mail from msn passport services. but i never got a mail like that. the same worked with another address. is there any way i can do the email passport verification
