FROM FA.FA_ADDITIONS_B FA, MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B MSI
WHERE MSI.SEGMENT1 <> FA.SERIAL_NUMBER
AND FA.SERIAL_NUMBER = '49622'

now, what i want, is that when the MSI.SEGMENT1 <> FA.SERIAL_NUMBER then make the value of the MSI.SEGMENT1 to NULL.
how do i do that, please assists me on how to write the IF statement for this.
also if the case is MSI.SEGMENT1 = FA.SERIAL_NUMBER then make the value of the MSI.SEGMENT1 same with the value of the FA.SERIAL_NUMBER.
please advise.
