Question

old Police game for PC - What is it!?

Asked by: Purple_Tidder

I played this game a long time ago, probably back in the days of Win98 first edition, or even possibly Win95b.  You're a police officer, and you go and do busts and stuff, you gotta know the police "10" codes, you can call for backup, blah blah blah.  It's not Sierra's Police Quest, but it's kind of like that.  I think it had the word "Blue" in it.

Just to add, it's not Blue force either, I had forgot to mention that one.  I'm pretty sure it wasn't a DOS based game, I'm thinking you had to have windows to play.

gecko_au2003, good idea, will do.

DavidBirch2dotCom, I'll go thru and check all your links, thanks!

A little more info on what I can remember, you can whip out your pistol and aim with the mouse and shoot people.  You can pull people over in your police car.  It's not like a free roaming game I do not believe, you have to tackle the obstacles in order I think (not too sure on this one, this was almost 10 years ago!)

Thanks!

Okay, after looking at screenshots of Blue Force, I think that's the game, but I can't find a place to download for free, everybody wants to charge...

It appears that Blue Force was made by the same dude that did Police Quest, which makes sense as to why they look very similar.  I just didn't think the game I played was DOS based, but it may be!

Thanks, DavidBirch2dotCom, for your help thus far,  I think we're almost there...

Thanks, got that link to work from home!  It IS Blue Force, I was so convinced it was a windows game...

RShooper, Blue Force was done by the same person that did Police Quest, it was after he left Sierra and created his own software company.  Cool eh?

Thanks David, I've been wanting to play this game for a LONG long time!  I love it, it's definitely a classic.
