Out of Disk Space on C Drive

Simply put...I am out of space on C Drive on Network Sever.    What files can I delete before I crash.....

Can I delete any files out of the Winnt/Installer folder?  What fonts is it mandatory that I keep?  What are the KBxxxx.logs and Qxxxxxx.logs in the Winnt Directory?  How do I track whatever it is that is slowly taking away my available space?  Where do I go to find out everything and anything about each folder within my Winnt Directory?

Putting a new hard drive in as a slave is a good idea.  However, many apps require a certain minimum space allocation on the primary drive for certain purposes, so even though the app may reside on the D: drive with bags of spare space, there may still be a space problem.  So it is not a good idea to install Applications on to that drive.  The slave drive idea is ideally suited to the storing of Data.  Apart from the issue at hand, if a problem arises with the pc and it needs to be reformatted, then, by taking out the Slave drive during the reformat process, it is easier to recover from such a problem.  You will need to verify where data is stored and try and get default data directories changed to the Slave drive to take advantage of the space.  Programs such as Outlook automatically install data into the primary drive, and it isn't always straightforward to get the data stored elsewhere.
