all always askes for CD

I made a backup CD of a program called MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 10 and I recently had to reinstall the program from the copy( I no longer have the original). Now when I go run the app it always asks to have the install CD placed in the drive and restart the program.

This would not be a problem except, after doing that, the app still continues to ask for the CD and I end up in a hopeless circle.

I had heard or, or owned an app a while back that fixes this kind of issue but I've forgotten its name.

Was hoping some would know it or have a solution to this?
