HEAT PUMP IN COLD WEATHER

Asked by LEECHIPTURNER in Miscellaneous

Tags: , , ,

Not exactly a question for this format, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction.  I have a heat pump for my house in Houston, TX.  It rarely gets below freezing here.  Well, today it is 30 degrees.  And I have sheets of ice formaing on the heat fins of my heat pump.  I've never seen this before.  Should I hose it off (might make it worse), or leave it alone?  Is this a problem?Start Free Trial
