Break Someones Dial Up Connection on Purpose

I need to figure out a way to remotely disconnect someone who is on the internet on a dial up connection.  I want to be able to dial the number that they are using for their dial up connection from my phone with either a phone or computer and then diconnect them so that I can call them. My reason for wanting to do this is that my Grandma sometimes leaves her internet connection connected all day long and I want to be able to call in and check on her.  I know there are alternative solutions such as additional phone lines, auto log off and other hardware and services but I want to know how to break the connection regardless.  If anyone can solve this one I will be very happy and impressed.  Not that you care if I'm impressed but I will be.  Start Free Trial
