Hi experts,
Tomorrow I'm going to one of these corporate HR days containing many nauseating sessions on team work; communication; influencing styles; customer strategy etc. etc.
To one of the sessions I have been asked to bring an object (can be anything) that represents my feelings toward the company, or that I think represents a part of the company's culture.
Some help for you:
(1) Company as with many others is quite bureaucratic, often meaning that a solution is delievered badly, and breaching deadlines
(2) Feel as is everything is always very reactive, spend 90% of our time fixing, rather than 90% of time improving
(3) Hierachy very top-heavy with a lack of investment or interest in skilled technicians
(4) Communication & planning is often very poor meaning that seperate projects often collide and both grind to a halt
(5) Leadship is quite tunnel-visioned in terms of providing stuff that 'looks' good in the short term as distinct from something that will stand the test of time.
Advice please
