The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

r u a lawyer?

Asked by nickg5 in Miscellaneous

I backed into someone's driveway with my truck in order to be able to go out forward. Unknowing to me, I backed into the carport roof which is made of aluminum. I did not know of the damage until the next day when the woman called me. I live 600 miles from her.
She has medical problems and my effort to get a writtem estimate is taking longer than she wants. She is threatening small  claims court and says she got an estimate for $1000.
I am going to file a claim with my insurance co. but it won't be concluded until after her Feb. 29th deadline.
She is being rather unstable about it. It has been less than 2 weeks.
She can leave me bad feedback on the job site and hurt me.

My landlady had a tenant who moved 150 miles away and left his mobile home on her lot for close to 2 years. She tried legal action and she had to file a claim, or try to, in the county in which the guy lived.

So, i am hopeful that this woman must file her legal action in my county, not hers. The landlady got a judgement in her favor of over $3000 but could not get a penny since it was not enforceable for some reason, no way to make him pay.

Hopefully I am immune too?????

I going to file a claim with my insurance co. if this witch will give me time and send me two estimates.Start Free Trial
