I am looking for information on what I.T. jobs are in demand, what certifications are considered useful and if a college degree is required for I.T. jobs in the U.K, Germany, and Australia. Aso if there is any work programs where you can long term visit the country and work without actually immigrating but have the possibility to immigrate to one of the those places at a later time. In essence a way to try out living and working there. I am considering moving from the U.S. to someplace else in the future so I figured this would be the best way to start gathering some information.
If anyone knows of any job search websites for those countries so I can do some further research or if anyone has direct experience / information.
Also if anyone knows what typical salary ranges are for I.T. like what is considered the norm and what is considered cheap for Windows 2003 Network Administrators, Windows XP / Vista Desktop Support type positions.
*****ALSO if anyone could recommend a job position to pursue that would entail travelling abroad in the U.K. , Germany and Australia please let me know (for example I have heard of CCIE's travelling around the world )
