If ever I want to show column data in an EE posting, the columns never align nicely, after submit.
Is there an easy way to this? Padding with spaces only seems to work part of the time and is not easy to do.
For example it would have to be an easy method for making the following line-up neatly in columns in an EE thread posting
Name Street State
Bob 404 Main St. NY
Jim Robinson 3614 Golden valley Rd. MN
Alice 123 Locust Pl. IL
(In each of the above, there is tab character between Name and Street; and between Street and State.)
Even better, is there an easy way to have aligned columns in an EE posting where the text in the columns might wrap-around if is too large for the column width?
Is there something like a table capability for this purpose; then how do I use it with above example?
