This problem has been resolved.
The issue was caused by a conflict with a Dynamo Label Maker driver.
In Laserfiche 8.0, I'm receiving the following error message when trying to scan using ScanConnect:
The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))

Go to the control panel uninstall ScanConnect and all related software reboot then reinstall with original instal dics. If you can find the dics you can download it here https://support.laserfiche .com/index .aspx
