I have HMS home warranty company they are charging 409$ a month for a home warrenty with a 100$ deductable , what are other options what do YOU use ?

if you are paying 409 a year, you are being cheated. If you are paying 409 a year..........to a low income person like me it is not worth it. Such items last too long. I've been using my washer-dryer-stove-refrige

I went to HMS site. You mean you are paying 409 a month and they are giving you a warranty on all your appliances if they fail?
Or are you talking about home owners insurance in case of fire, etc?
My father has home owner's insurance thru All State that values all the contents of his house and it is only $288 a year and that includes the house too, not just the contents.
When you buy appliances, you are given a warranty of some kind, you can pay extra at the time of the purchase to get extended coverage.
It depends on what is being covered?
