You need to be more specific in capturing the EXACT details of any pop-ups and error messages received and also see if there are Technical Support contact options for these services on the sites.
This is a fundamental process of ALL Internet sites not just MSN, Hotmail, Windows Live or @live.com. The technical support staff of the site is there as a resource for the clients and prospective clients of the site and they are also most likely to be familiar with any error conditions encountered. I began my computer support career working in a technical support Call Center and our job was always made easier when the caller had "good information" to expedite the troubleshooting process. While it may not be the customer or client's obligation to provide a clear, concise or detailed description of what happened, as a general rule of the business the more information provided TO the support agents the quicker a resolution will be achieved. This was nearly always the truth as I experienced it between the years of 1995 and 1999 in dealing with a client audience of up to eighty-nine thousand customers.
With the introduction of low cost desktop image scanners and a commonly practiced "screen capture" skill among end users, many client are now able to capture the issue if full detail and e-mail it directly in to the support representatives for examination. I use this method when troubleshooting networked printer issues and frequently provide "Event Logs" to support personnel in the form of an e-mail attachment; this really helps when I am in the United States and the support center is in Costa Rica.
Good luck with your issue!
