I created a note in Facebook, http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=145056861376

It's set to be accessible by "Everyone in Facebook", but is it possible to make it available to the general public ? Can only Facebook members see it ?

Only facebook memebers can see your public notes.  If you want to limit who on Facebook can read it, then you need to go into:

Settings -- Provacy Settings -- Profile

Hey WilliamPeck -

I found a note that I wrote on Facebook.com and went to google and did a facebook.com specific search (site: Facebook.com *insert note title*) and it didn't show up. Making me think that the blog you're on as well as the other comments here are proving to be true.

Ning and http://www.brazencareerist.com/ might be a good bet. When I had a Brazen account and would google my name, it came up higher on SERPs from Google than my own URL did.

I couldn't find the value in it, but I honestly didn't give it much of a chance. I canceled it and had everything erased purely for SEO reasons. They were WAY better at it (probably bc they had more time than I have) and so I didn't want that ranking higher than my website and other useful information (in my opinion).
