My internet keeps on turn on and off

This is a newbie question. But it's causing me a lot of problems recently!
I have cable high speed internet
Belkin G wireless router with a simple WEP encryption.
2 desktop (1 Sony 3 years old, with a gigabit PCI card, and a very old desktop doing nothing but torrent at night on a hawkin's G wireless USB card) and 2 laptop (1 HP DV9000 6 month old, 1 XPS M1330 1 month old)
For the past 2 month. The internet will kick on and kick off randomly for no reason. Some times I don't even see the disconnect, whatever I am downloading or uploading just hangs there.

Recently it's been worse and worse. I change my old Netgear G to this new Belkin G. It was good for first week, but now it's back at it again.

Is it a compatibility issue? networking issue? setting issue?Start Free Trial
