i'd like to view your interpretation/understandi
ng/opinion
on what you think the "End of the World" will look like.
<I see end of the world as something like a great meteor shower, where humans go into mountains to hide from the title waves, and into caves to hide from the ashes of volcanos etc.. , after many many years in these caves (perhaps generations) their language is somewhat changing, new words for new things, everything on earth is covered by layers and layers of dirt, acid rain disolved most metal/human created objects (cars,planes,buildings etc..)
and people start emerging, maybe only a few hundred per continent, maybe a few thousand, by now they start to exhaust the fruits of their land and must travel, some don't want to leave, others do, slowly they meet up with others, by now (a few thousand years) all languages are so forgotten and mixed that new languages form..
The fact that at one point you could build a car from scratch does not matter, as you can't find a metal shop that will make the body of a car, or the engine parts... everyone starts to forget who they were, and how to build, in other words the world is becoming dumber rather then smarter.
All the stories about how there were airplanes and trains and cars and buildings are just a myth, and time passes...
Suddenly cities are forming, population grows, intllectuals start getting together... a few more thousands of years go by, people are getting smarter, countries are formed, people start to dress normally, fashion sets in, technology, etc.. All of a sudden its the year 2003 (on these NEW calendars) and time passes and the whole process repeats itself...
---------------- This is not for points, its just to share ideas, does anyone else feel this COULD be the way the world turns?
If you have some constructive comments please post, this is the philosophy area... so i take it everyone is Correct here..
